Kumihimo, once incorporated into the spiritual training of samurai during the Edo period, also embodies elements of Zen meditation. Being guided by an authentic Kumihimo artisan, the opportunity to simultaneously experience the creation of Kumihimo and the practice of Zen meditation will indeed become an unforgettable memory in your lifetime. Included: - Experience making “Kumihimo (traditional Japanese braids)” under the guidance of an artisan in English (creating straps, bracelets, and neck straps) at the Kumihimo Studio 'Domyo', - One strap, bracelet, or neck strap created by the customer - Explanation at the Kumihimo Museum - Observation of the Kumihimo making process demonstration - English-speaking local guide - Flexible tour planning in English - Garbage Bag Note: Other means of transportation can be arranged at an additional cost. Cancellation Policy

Date of cancellation request received by us 8 or more days prior to the Experience Tour: No charge 2 to 7 days prior to the Experience Tour: 50% cancellation charge of the total cost 1 day prior and on the day to the Experience Tour: 100% cancellation charge of the total cost No show or after the commencement of the Experience Tour: 100% of the total cost In the event of a cancellation request, any refund will be remitted to your bank account after deducting the fees: cancellation charges as applicable and bank handling/wire transfer charges. It will likely take about 3-4 weeks to process under normal circumstances. The date and time of cancellation are based on Japan Standard Time only when a notice is received by EDO KAGURA Corporation, regardless of when the customer sent the notice.
