Silk Stole Dyeing Workshop (Edo Sarasa) Silk Stole Dyeing Experience for Two Guests Price ¥37,000 per person (This plan is exclusively for 2 guests) Group Size Minimum booking: 2 guests Solo guests are charged the equivalent of 2 guests This workshop is not private; other participants may join Duration Approximately 2 hours What’s Included Edo Sarasa silk stole dyeing experience guided by an authentic dyeing artisan Creation of one Edo Sarasa silk stole per guest (retail value approx. ¥25,000) Multilingual local guide (English / French / German / Spanish) Shipping fee for the finished silk stole (delivery to your hotel within approximately 2 days) Not Included Food and beverages Transportation costs Dyeing Process 1: Choose a pattern and colors Select from four silk stole patterns: Karahana Yoko-dan, Karahana, Nadeshiko, and Flowers and Birds. Colors are decided in consultation with the artisans at the workshop. 2: Dyeing experience begins Place a pattern template on the silk stole. Using a special round brush, apply dye mixed with paste using light pressure. Applying too much pressure may cause bleeding, so careful control is essential. 3: Factory tour After completing the dyeing, enjoy a guided tour of the workshop with an artisan. In this plan, steaming, washing, and drying are handled by the artisans. If you wish to perform all steps yourself, please contact us in advance. 4: Receive your silk stole The finished silk stole will be delivered to your hotel within 2 days after the experience. Meeting Point The meeting point will be arranged after booking. Hotel pickup is available upon request for an additional fee. Cancellation Policy

Date of cancellation request received by us 8 or more days prior to the Experience Tour: No charge 2 to 7 days prior to the Experience Tour: 50% cancellation charge of the total cost 1 day prior and on the day to the Experience Tour: 100% cancellation charge of the total cost No show or after the commencement of the Experience Tour: 100% of the total cost In the event of a cancellation request, any refund will be remitted to your bank account after deducting the fees: cancellation charges as applicable and bank handling/wire transfer charges. It will likely take about 3-4 weeks to process under normal circumstances. The date and time of cancellation are based on Japan Standard Time only when a notice is received by EDO KAGURA Corporation, regardless of when the customer sent the notice.
