Wagashi + Tea Ceremony Private Wagashi Workshop for Three Guests Price ¥20,000 per person (This plan is exclusively for 3 guests) Group Size Minimum booking: 3 guests 1-2 guests are charged the equivalent of 3 guests Completely private experience — no other groups will join Duration Approximately 2 hours What’s Included Private wagashi-making workshop led by a skilled wagashi artisan Creation of two Jo-Namagashi (high-grade fresh Japanese sweets with over 30% moisture content) Tea ceremony experience with matcha in a traditional tea room Enjoyment of the wagashi you created together with matcha Multilingual local guide (English / French / German / Spanish) Flexible experience coordination Not Included Transportation costs Meeting Point The meeting point will be arranged after booking. Hotel pickup is available upon request for an additional fee. Important Information During the tea ceremony, matcha is prepared and served by a tea ceremony instructor, following traditional etiquette White or beige socks are required to enter the tea room (Bare feet or stockings are not permitted) If you do not have suitable socks, please let us know in advance Children are welcome to participate Operated by a licensed travel agency (Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Regional-8490) Insurance is included The experience is designed to be safe and comfortable for all guests For Groups of 4–8 Guests Please see our Wagashi + Tea Ceremony (4–8 Guests) plan. Cancellation Policy
Date of cancellation request received by us 8 or more days prior to the Experience Tour: No charge 2 to 7 days prior to the Experience Tour: 50% cancellation charge of the total cost 1 day prior and on the day to the Experience Tour: 100% cancellation charge of the total cost No show or after the commencement of the Experience Tour: 100% of the total cost In the event of a cancellation request, any refund will be remitted to your bank account after deducting the fees: cancellation charges as applicable and bank handling/wire transfer charges. It will likely take about 3-4 weeks to process under normal circumstances. The date and time of cancellation are based on Japan Standard Time only when a notice is received by EDO KAGURA Corporation, regardless of when the customer sent the notice.
