Get ready for the Kagurazaka Machi Tobi Festa 2025! If you're looking for unforgettable Kagurazaka events in 2025, this is the one you can't miss. Running from October 11th (Sat) to November 3rd (Mon, Holiday), this celebration is a highlight of the city's autumn calendar and a truly special Tokyo fall festival.
Started in 1999 by local volunteers, the festival is now in its 27th year. It has evolved from a simple art event into what's now affectionately called "The Handmade Town Cultural Festival," featuring everything from traditional arts to lively street performances. The world-famous "Kagurazaka Bakeneko (Cat Halloween) Festival 2025," which we blogged about on July 12th, is also part of this amazing month-long event.

The grand finale on November 3rd offers a unique Japanese festival experience unlike any other: "Saka ni Oekaki" (Drawing on the Slope). For this event, a massive 700-meter-long roll of white paper is spread down the entire length of Kagurazaka's main street, inviting everyone—young and old, and especially children—to freely paint and draw whatever they like. Of course, international visitors are warmly welcome to join in this creative and joyful celebration!
A month-long event that transforms an entire neighborhood into its venue is rare, even in Japan. Whether you're a long-time resident or a visitor searching for an unforgettable Tokyo fall festival, the Kagurazaka Machi Tobi Festa 2025 is an open invitation to experience the heart and soul of our community. We invite you to come and be a part of it!
Below is the list of all the participating Kagurazaka events for 2025.
