Strengthening Tokyo's Global Appeal

The "Tokyo Tokyo" icon is used to promote the charm of Tokyo both domestically and internationally. It was created as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's efforts to establish a strong "Tokyo Brand" as a travel destination. We are very pleased to have been granted the right to use this icon.

Discover the Harmony of Tradition and Innovation in Tokyo

Tokyo is a city where tradition inherited from the Edo period (1603-1868) coexists with cutting-edge culture, deepening and continuously creating new value every day. The traditional cultural experience tours we offer correspond to the "Old" part of the "Old meets New" phrase written on the "Tokyo Tokyo" icon. While many travelers to Tokyo may have a strong impression of the "New" aspect of the city, we hope that in the future, visitors will also experience the traditions of Tokyo and discover a new side of the city.

Experience the Authentic Tradition in Historic Kagurazaka, Shinjuku

Kagurazaka in Shinjuku Ward traces its origins to Onari-Dori Street, which was built by Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third shogun of the Edo Shogunate, in 1636. Onari-Dori refers to a historical street or pathway in Japan that was often used by shoguns when visiting temples, shrines, or other significant locations. Even today, the Kagurazaka area, one of the oldest districts in Tokyo, is home to many traditional performing arts and crafts. Experiencing traditional culture in this historic town is sure to be an 'authentic' experience and a cherished memory of your trip.
